Volunteer Important dates

Hello everyone as you know we are on the cusp of another great year here at Montague Little League. As I have told you all in previous email we will begin collecting the $50 refundable volunteer fee in the form of a check this coming week at clinics. This is to ensure everyone does their part in helping with the league have a successful season. We are asking that each family volunteer for 2 commitments throughout the season. There will be plenty of volunteer opportunities for everyone to fulfill the requirement. I will be putting a list together with all responsibilities needed throughout the season. With that being said we are looking for volunteers to help get the fields on rt 206 across from the school ready this coming Saturday please see me at clinics this week or txt me if you can assist the more people we get the less time it will take to get it done. I have not received the game schedules yet, as it is not up to me to make the schedules. However our opening day is going to be Saturday April 30 at our home field on clove rd. please arrive no later then 8:30 that will also be our picture day. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities for that as well. The next day on Sunday may 1 we will participating in a roadside cleanup the time is to TBD it usually is only a couple of hours, it will be on the roads of Rubin Hill and Armstong rd. also along the adjoining roads. All safety apparel will be provided that will be also eligible to be considered as fulfilling volunteer requirements. Also coaches will be assigned and team rosters handed out this week, please try and make this week to clinics so we can get your players jersey size and number so we can order our uniforms. They will let you know when and where your practices will be once the weather breaks. Any questions please feel free to ask.
